Event Sales Manager - Cashel Palace Hotel

Cashel Palace Hotel, a proud member of Ireland’s Blue Book and Relais & Châteaux, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Event Sales Manager to join our team. Set in the heart of Cashel and overlooked by the iconic Rock of Cashel, our five-star property offers an exceptional setting for weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and exclusive experiences.

About the Role
The Event Sales Manager will lead the end-to-end sales process for all events, driving revenue while delivering the high standards of service and hospitality synonymous with Cashel Palace. This role requires a proactive, polished professional with strong commercial awareness and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all event enquiries from initial contact through to contract stage
• Proactively drive sales across weddings, corporate events, and social occasions
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
• Conduct property show-arounds and represent the hotel at industry events
• Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and ensure accurate event details are communicated
• Collaborate closely with Operations to ensure flawless event delivery
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for growth
• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in event sales within luxury hospitality or a similar environment
• Strong sales skills with the ability to convert enquiries into confirmed business
• Professional, confident communication and presentation skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability
• A guest-focused mindset with a commitment to five-star standards
• Flexibility to work as business levels require, including occasional evenings/weekends
