The Chef de Rang is responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive, personalized, and seamless service to our guests. This role oversees a designated station, ensuring the highest standards of luxury hospitality are maintained while collaborating closely with the culinary and restaurant teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver refined and personalized food and beverage service in accordance with Relais & Châteaux and hotel standards.
- Manage and coordinate all service activities within the assigned station.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of menus, ingredients, wine pairings, daily specials, and beverage offerings.
- Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations through proactive and attentive service.
- Ensure tables are impeccably prepared before, during, and after service.
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen, bar, and service colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle guest requests and concerns with professionalism, discretion, and efficiency.
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the restaurant.
- Accurately process orders and payments using the hotel's POS system.
- Support the training and guidance of Commis de Rang and junior team members when required.
- Comply with all health, hygiene, and food safety regulations
- Previous experience as a Chef de Rang, Senior Waiter, or a similar role in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or upscale resort.
- Strong knowledge of international food and beverage service standards.
- Wine knowledge and familiarity with fine dining etiquette are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and genuine passion for hospitality.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining exceptional service standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and collaborative team spirit.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the seasonal operation.
Requirements
- Advanced English proficiency is required; additional languages such as Spanish, French, Italian, or German are considered an asset.
- Previous luxury hospitality experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations.
- Availability to work from mid-November 2026 through April 2027.
